VCT GAME CHANGERS 2021
Summary
VCT Game Changers is the most globally recognized esports event for women and marginalized genders. The established VALORANT tournament was outsourced to Raidiant for its North American Series 2 event in the 2021 season.
To stand out from other broadcast organizers that also operated VCT Game Changers events, Raidiant developed a unique content strategy to tell the story of the tournament’s competitors, leveraged multiple stream channels including the game’s top influencers to broadcast concurrent matches, was the only organizer to send gift packages to all participants, attained front page exposure on Twitch and secured several partnerships from Verizon, NYX Professional Makeup, Chipotle, VIRUS International, RESPAWN, Susquehanna International Group and Twitch Women’s Alliance.
At the time of its production, VCT Game Changers Series 2 by Raidiant was the most watched Women’s PC gaming tournament of all time.
Raidiant and sister company, Dignitas, won the Women in Games Global Award for Favourite All-Women or Co-Ed Esports League or Tournament of 2021.

Riot Games, in their pursuit of enhancing the VCT Game Changers tournament experience, recognized the need for a broadcast solution that would not only cater to the competitive gaming audience but also provide a customized experience for marginalized gendered players. To achieve this goal, Riot Games partnered with Raidiant. Through our expertise, they were able to create a unique and immersive broadcast production for VCT Game Changers that celebrated the diverse VALORANT community while paving the way for a more inclusive gaming environment.
