Raidiant is excited to announce the hiring of veteran Broadcast Producer, Alexis “Pinecone” Wood! Wood is known for her work as the Producer and Director of the Riot Games’ VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) North America and VCT Game Changers North America during her time with Nerd Street Gamers.
Additionally, she has produced shows for G4TV, Ubisoft, Psyonix, and OTK Network. As an endemic gamer, Wood has accomplished numerous Top 3 finishes in North American Women’s CS:GO tournaments and recently finished Top 8 in a notable VALORANT Game Changers community tournament. Wood combines her endemic knowledge of the esports titles with 7+ years of experience in broadcasting to create a genuine and sincere product with a high level of polish.
Wood will be the lead Broadcast Producer for Raidiant, a women focused broadcast and content solutions company.
Raidiant recently produced Activision Blizzard’s Calling All Heroes Challengers Cup, the publisher’s first-of-its-kind tournament for marginalized genders. Additionally, Raidiant has produced tournaments for Riot Games’ VALORANT Game Changers property and Psyonix’s Rocket League. Each tournament has resulted in breaking multiple records viewership, participation and prize money as it relates to marginalized communities.
Raidiant, under the direction of Wood’s production and technical expertise alongside Raidiant Executive Producer, Heather “sapphiRe” Garozzo – the first woman voted into the Esports Hall of Fame, will soon announce a year-long series of tournaments and influencer events meant for women gamers across many of esports’ top played game titles. Additionally, Raidiant will announce tournaments for esports communities that have not traditionally offered women-specific opportunities.
