The Milk Cup is dedicated to providing more women with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive in the competitive gaming world. Competitors this year have a chance to earn part of an overall prize pool of $300,000 USD by competing in Fortnite Build Mode Duos.
Series 1 of The Milk Cup took place in May. Open qualifiers for Series 2 begin July 3rd, with the Main Event kicking off July 10th. Here’s a look at everything you need to know!

What’s Changed?
Following a successful run in 2024, The Milk Cup returns to help showcase and uplift women in the esports community. There have been some enhancements included in The Milk Cup experience this time around.
- The prize pull this year is $300,000 – an increase from last year’s $250,000. This will help to reward top talent even more and elevate the competition.
- This year’s format will include Duos to inspire team-based play and create more opportunities for collaboration. This change in the format came directly from community feedback after last year’s event.
- This year is offering more opportunities to qualify. Although the first series has already passed, there are still two major series scheduled for this year, in July and August. Each main event will help lead to the LAN Championship this fall.
- Also announced this year was the introduction of The Milk Cup Academy, a groundbreaking training and mentorship program designed to help level up and empower women gamers through competitive experience, coaching, and training.
- This year, the event will also be broadcast live from Gonna Need Milk’s Twitch channel to help increase visibility and expand the action to a wider audience.
