All the streamers who have moved to Kick so far

May 2, 2023

Launched around the last quarter of 2022, Kick is slowly but surely progressing. The new platform’s managing to attract more and more creators with its impressive monetization options and more creative freedom. But that’s not the only reason why top streamers are moving to Kick. The best in gaming are tired of Twitch’s heavy salary cuts and rigid rulings.

Consequently, dozens of streamers have migrated to Kick in 2023, including streaming hotshots like Trainwreck, Adin Ross, and more.

Here are all the streamers who have moved to Kick

Here is a list of all the streamers who have left Twitch and YouTube in favor of Kick.

Trainwreck

Tyler ‘Trainwreck’ Niknam is the face of Kick. Trainwreck owns shares in the new streaming company and intends to promote Kick as an easy-to-use, more user-friendly platform. In addition, Trainwreck’s new streaming platform aims to be built to benefit his fellow creators more. In that regard, one of the most crucial improvements is the 95/5 cut, which is terrific for content creators. On the other hand, other platforms, such as Twitch, are taking close to 50/50 splits, which comes nowhere close compared to Kick.

Before Kick, Trainwreck was one of the most popular streamers on the front of Twitch, amassing millions of followers across all his socials who regularly tune into his streams. He’s usually seen playing games, gambling, and chatting over his stream; most people have criticized him for promoting gambling despite his efforts to warn viewers of the consequences.

Consequently, Trainwreck has faced some problems during his career as a streamer at Twitch, and he has been banned several times for violating the terms and conditions. But it seems he finally grew tired of the restrictions at the old platform and wanted more creative freedom for himself and others and decided to part ways.

Adin Ross

Popular American YouTuber Adin Ross is one of the biggest names Kick has recently acquired. Adin was recently banned for violating Twitch’s terms and services for the eighth and final time. The last ban led him to switch platforms and ultimately follow in Trainwreck’s footsteps.

The popular streamer officially joined the new platform two months ago after he announced his close departure from Twitch to his millions of subscribers in a YouTube video. Rumors were flying around that the streamer might join Twitch’s competitor soon.

The news of him joining Kick was confirmed after a week as he streamed on the platform for the first time in February 2023. As of writing, Adin has amassed over 200 thousand followers on the new platform.

Buddha

Leading GTA V RP Creator Lucas “Buddha” decided to switch to Kick earlier this year, but unfortunately, he had to come back under the purple banner.

The popular streamer has made a name for himself after grinding over the years on Twitch. After reaching some of the highest subscriber counts and views on Twitch, Lucas was acquired by TSM as a sponsored content creator. Unfortunately, Lucas had to take some time off streaming after suffering from health issues in late 2022.

After recovering from his health issues, he streamed a few times on Twitch before switching to Kick, but little did he know about the implications of this move. It’s worth noting that Lucas is sponsored by TSM, and given that Twitch sponsors TSM, this move could have potential conflicts of interest or complications that he may not have considered.

Lucas remains active on Twitch for now, perhaps due to his existing audience or contractual obligations with TSM, but he was one of the top streamers to test the waters at Kick.

Roshtein

Famous slot streamer Roshtein is a fan of Stake. The successful Swedish streamer has been slot streaming for the better part of the last decade. After a few successful gambling feats, Roshtein was able to pursue slot streaming as a full-time job. As a result, he has attained over a million followers on the purple platform.

Unfortunately, the famous streamer was recently banned from YouTube and is now seen simultaneously streaming on both Kick and Twitch. However, the new platform seems to be working out for him because of the lenient terms of service and more tolerance towards gambling.

It makes perfect sense for Roshtein to switch toward Kick because the nature of his streams is purely gambling-related, which Kick is a safe haven for.

Ac7ionMan

Popular Twitch streamer Aaron’ Ac7ionMan’ is thriving on Kick after swiping left on Twitch. In a tweet, he recently announced his hefty earnings through Kick, which he would never have imagined to have earned on Twitch even though he has a sizeable fanbase of almost 700k followers. Which is fair because who doesn’t like more money?

Moreover, the streamer has had some problems with the terms and conditions, leading to a slap on the wrist from Twitch.

He has recently felt the heat after making controversial statements on his Twitch stream regarding suggesting the intoxication of an infant. Clearly, his streams aren’t family-friendly because of explicit language and problematic takes, which doesn’t seem to be an issue at Kick.

Kick is managing to keep its content creators happy and satisfied by offering a very enticing revenue split, which others can’t possibly provide. Moreover, the platform’s lenient TOS is an eye-catcher for streamers with more R-rated streams. Considering Kick’s tolerant nature, this streamer exodus may continue for the rest of 2023.
