Overwatch Calling All Heroes Spring Season 2025 has wrapped up as one of the most successful events produced by Raidiant. Now, weeks later, there are some in-game highlights that fans are still talking about.

Since 2022, CAH has done what no one else in Overwatch esports is doing: creating a space specifically for underrepresented genders to shine. The tournament offers a large-scale platform that drives both visibility and community support. With Raidiant’s backing, CAH has elevated enough standout teams and players in 2025 to deliver a level of competition and entertainment on par with any S-tier event.

The Calling All Heroes Spring 2025 Playoffs concluded with an impressive showing from Avidity Kittens, who completed a flawless upper bracket run to claim the title. After finishing the regular season with a strong 5–1 record, they defeated Hivemind Baddies, ExO: Sakura, and DhillKucks to secure first place.

ExO: Sakura, despite their upper bracket loss, made a solid lower bracket run. They eliminated Faeble, Quick Esports Nova, and Moths Genesis before taking down DhillKucks 3–1 to earn a rematch against Avidity Kittens. Their second attempt fell short, but their second-place finish locked in a spot at the CAH Championship.

DhillKucks entered the playoffs as the only team with a 6–0 record in the regular season. They continued their momentum early on with wins over Hypnos Icelus and Moths Genesis, but couldn’t find success against Avidity or ExO, ultimately finishing third. Their top-three placement also secured qualification for the CAH Championship.

Thanks to Moths Genesis’ Amity’s clutch support play and critical Nano Boost timings, the team closed out their playoff run with a respectable 3–1 record, falling just short of Championship qualification. Amity’s impact was especially clear in high-pressure moments like this one.

CAH Spring Season 2025 playoff highlights

These are the top three teams that provided enough highlight plays for fans to learn from and discuss. From ExO: Sakura’s perfectly timed ult combos to Avidity Kittens’ coordinated dives and DhillKucks’ clean teamfighting, the playoffs were filled with standout moments that showcased just how far the CAH competitive scene has come. The strategic depth brought by the hero ban format added another layer to each matchup, rewarding teams that came prepared and could adapt mid-series

In the Lower Finals on New Junk City, ExO: Sakura’s tank player M5RI held firm on Ramattra with Annihilation ready, just as their team neared 95% capture progress on the final point. With DhillKucks yet to contest, M5RI’s positioning and ultimate economy created a perfect setup to shut down any last-ditch push. Their ability to stay alive with full health while holding such a game-defining ult was a testament to ExO’s composure under pressure, which was a major factor in their eventual win and qualification for the Grand Final.

But, at the end of the day, it was Avidity that took home the championship title with a dominant 3–0 sweep over ExO: Sakura in the Grand Final, capping off a near-flawless run that left no doubt about who the best team of the Spring Season was.

CAH ended with Avidity taking home the $3,500 prize and securing their spot in the upcoming CAH Championship. But fans who tuned in didn’t walk away empty-handed either. Viewers were rewarded with exclusive in-game cosmetics through Twitch Drops. Overwatch Esports rolled out themed rewards every Wednesday from May 28 to June 11, including the Ready for Summer Vibes Name Card, making viewership both entertaining and rewarding.
