February 10, 2025
The 2025 esports scene is kicking off strong, with Valorant Game Changers making a big comeback in partnership with Raidiant.
VCT Game Changers 2024 ended with a bang, crowning Shopify Rebellion as champions. While fans are still reeling from SR’s dominant clean sweep over MiBR, Riot has unveiled the full schedule and year-long plans for women and marginalized genders looking to compete in VCT GC 2025. For this year, Riot is seeking production services from Raidiant’s all-female staff, taking previous partnerships from Game Changers Academy to the next level.
Raidiant operates VCT Game Changers 2025

Riot and Raidiant have teamed up in the past for Raidiant Academy, a development program that gives rising VCT Game Changers NA players, casters, observers, and production staff a chance to hone their skills in a competitive yet low-pressure setting before taking on the pro scene. While those programs will bleed into 2025 as well, Raidiant will also operate the main events.
This partnership is a perfect match, as Raidiant is dedicated to elevating marginalized genders in esports by hosting events that rival high-scale tournaments. With Raidiant playing a key role in VCT Game Changers, it’s safe to say this circuit will be a memorable one—a true reflection of its commitment to competitive excellence, inclusivity, and the growth of the scene.

Why VCT Game Changers 2025 is a must-follow circuit
VCT Game Changers 2025 is stepping up its game with a few major changes that set it apart from previous seasons. First, there’s the new Kickoff Tournament—a standalone pre-season event with a solid $10,000 prize pool. No Championship points are on the line here, so this tournament is all about giving teams the chance to test their rosters, get some live tournament experience, and prep for the big events.
Another exciting shift is the Swiss Stage being introduced in both Stage 1 and Stage 2. In the past, teams went straight from Open Qualifiers to playoffs, but now they’ll face off in seven rounds over five weeks before reaching the main event. This new system keeps teams on their toes, ensuring consistent performance rather than relying on one-off qualifier results. On top of that, the top eight teams from Stage 1 will auto-qualify for Stage 2’s Swiss Stage, meaning they’ll skip the Open Qualifiers and get a head start. It’s a smart way to reward consistent top performers while lightening the load for those who’ve already proven themselves.
While the new format and events are exciting, Raidiant has added its own special touch by taking production to the next level. The Swiss Stage will feature three simultaneous broadcasts: two “Observer-Only” clean feeds for co-streamers and a “Match of the Week” broadcast with full casters. This means more exposure for teams and even more ways for fans to stay engaged with the action.
All in all, VCT Game Changers 2025 is shaping up to be a more structured, competitive, and exciting season, giving both up-and-coming and established teams the perfect stage to shine. Whether you’re a player or a fan, this year is definitely one to watch.
