ALLY WOMEN’S OPEN
Summary
Marking Ally and Raidiant’s inaugural partnership, the “Ally Women’s Open” provided an opportunity for the brightest talents in Rocket League’s NA and EU scenes to compete for their share of a $40,000 prize pool — the largest transatlantic women’s Rocket League prize pool ever.

Challenge
“Investment in all sports, including esports, has long been biased towards men’s competition. To address this inequity, we’ve made a pledge to reach equal media spending across men’s and women’s sports over the next five years because we believe there should be a level playing field for all athletes – whether on the field, the racetrack, or in gaming,” said Bridget Sponsky, executive director of brand and partnerships at Ally. “This sponsorship gives us a way to engage with the fans and players of a massively popular industry, while providing increased exposure and income opportunities for the incredibly talented female competitors.”
“Thank you so much to Raidiant and Rocket League for taking the time to create something big for the women’s Rocket League scene and allowing me to be a part of it. It really felt like the Ally Women’s Open was handled with extreme care. Extremely admirable.”
